GRUG Council Member Highlight: Dr. Tarek
Nabhan - Egypt RUG Leader
Dr. Tarek Nabhan has recently taken over as the leader of the Egypt RUG and is a new member of the council. In the past 18 years, Dr. Tarek has led the conceptualization, design and development of a number of groundbreaking products for leading organizations around the world including NEC, ERG , Adept Electronic Solutions, PACC and ITWorx. Tarek received his PhD from University of Western Australia in Parallel Computations for a Class of Time Critical Processes and received an M.Sc. in An Expert System for Solving Multi-Objective Mechanical Design Problems and a B.Sc. in Electronic and Communications Engineering from Cairo University. activities started up, over 25 users from
different industries and universities all
over Mexico City attended the event held at
IBM's Mexico Offices; there were two elite
guest speakers - Terry Quatrani (IBM US) and
Huibert Aalbers (IBM Mexico). Daniel Colunga
(Mexico Rational Team Leader), introduced the
group, goals, benefits and forthcoming
activities and plans for this still young but
eager group.
