Rational Application Developer - Service Component Architecture (RAD-SCA) Development Tools Open Beta - Now Available!
The RAD-SCA Development Tool suite is a powerful, integrated extension to RAD for the assembly of service oriented application components based on the open Service Component Architecture (http://osoa.org) and the deployment of SCA assets to the WebSphere Application Server v7.0 Feature Pack for Service Component Architecture (SCA). RAD-SCA Development Tools include a concise set of tools for developing SCA service components implemented with annotated Java, for graphically wiring components together to form new composite services, for associating protocol bindings and quality of service intents to SCA components, and for packaging up SCA assets and deploying them to the WebSphere Application Server. The RAD-SCA open beta is now available, so try it out and let us know what you think at:

Rational Requirements Composer Web UI Open Beta - Now Available!
This RRC Open Beta will feature the new Web UI that works with Rational Requirements Composer v1.0, Interim Fix 1. The Web UI provides a read-only view to artifacts that are stored in the Rational Requirements Composer Server, which enables business analysts, client stakeholders, and software development teams to review, comment on, and validate requirements -- without installing the RRC Client software on multiple systems. The download is available at the Open Beta website at:
