Telecommunications Company TCO Evaluation of Certeon's aCelera for Rational ClearCase

IBM Rational ClearCase allows developers to connect to distributed ClearCase databases and perform all SCM-related operations remotely; however, wide area network (WAN) latency can slow application response time when performing operations that modify and transfer files. Certeon's aCelera software optimizes ClearCase performance over the WAN by as much as 95% and reduces IT total cost of ownership (TCO) by 60%, enabling a more productive and cost-efficient distributed development environment. Certeon's aCelera software has earned Ready for IBM Rational Software validation.

In this evaluation by a global Telecommunications company, the results show that an implementation of Certeon's aCelera software, supporting the Telco's IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client deployment of approximately 10,000 seats, will produce a productivity benefit ranging from $1.18 million to $18.0 million in one year of production. Download this whitepaper to learn more about how you can improve performance, reduce TCO, and increase the return on your ClearCase investment.
