Goals & Objectives :
- Maximize knowledge and proficiencies in the understanding and usage of IBM/Rational products and services as they relate to achieving our individual companies business strategies, objectives and goals in relationship to process optimization, employee productivity, stakeholder and shareholder profitability.
- Create a local community of IBM/Rational products & services subject matter experts that will be willing to share knowledge and experiences with all chapter members that will translate into accelerated learning opportunities and on-the-job tangible benefits.
- Create a Charlotte area network of IBM/Rational product & services users that can interface, grow and learn from other IBM/Rational User Groups, on both a national and international basis.
- Have some FUN

Please join us for a joint virtual meeting between the Greater Charlotte and Richmond Rational user groups.

Wade Towles will cover the following information during the presentation:

Rational Requirements Composer is a Requirements Definition solution and companion product to Rational RequisitePro and DOORS that improves the ability to capture & define requirements using various visualization/scenario techniques, and collaboration tools to unify globally distributed teams to collaborate on requirements, for better, faster project outcomes.

What does it do?

* Gives Analysts ability to capture requirements using business process diagrams, use cases, sketches and story boards
* Allows stakeholders to visualize requirements to increase clarity and confidence in sign-off
* Creates scenarios to expose constraints and trade-offs.
* Chats, alerts, discussion threads, glossaries and validation reviews channel team dialogue and language towards consensus.
* Organizes and connects disparate requirement data and documents to create unified solution knowledge
* Integrates with RequisitePro to connect better requirements with test cases, designs and change requests

Summary:
Tony Shan is a Lead Systems Architect at Wachovia Bank. Tony has years of experience in leading life-cycle design and development of large-scale distributed systems on diverse platforms using a variety of cutting-edge technologies and unified/agile methodologies. Tony holds three Master's degrees in engineering and science majors, and is a Sun Certified Java 2 Programmer, Sun Certified Enterprise Architect, and IBM Certified eBusiness Solution Technologist, as well as Sun Certified Faculty Instructor. Tony is a member of Worldwide Institute of Software Architects, National Computer Science Academy, Association of Storage Networking Professionals, and UPE Computer Science Honor Society. Tony is also the founding member of Greater Charlotte Rational User Group.

Mr. Patrick Pitsinger has experience with Object Oriented methodologies such as IBM Rational's Unified Process and Lockheed Martin's CADIT. He has completed courses in Requirements Development & Management, Object-Oriented Project Management, Object-Oriented Analysis & Design using UML and J2EE Programming. Mr. Pitsinger is skilled in all aspects of OOAD including use cases, business scenarios, object models, sequence diagrams, application object models and system design models. He has also established competence with IBM Rational Enterprise Studio tools including Visual Modeling, Round-Trip Engineering and Requirements Management. Mr Pitsinger is experienced with IDEs including Microsoft's Visual Studio & IBM's WebSphere Studio Products.
