Summary: Please join us for the first virtual Rational User Group meeting for North America. We will start out with a brief introduction by Carson Holmes, the GRUG Council President, as well as the UG leader of the San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County UGs. Second, we will have a presentation by Carolyn Pampino of IBM Rational about the application lifecycle management packages for ClearQuest.

The application lifecycle management (ALM) packages for ClearQuest provide a solution framework for ensuring ALM best practices in your existing Rational® ClearQuest® change management system. The ClearQuest ALM packages provide you with a role-based process and security model that offers optimal performance with a collection of tightly integrated record types that create a foundation for managing software development projects. The solution can be applied to new or existing ClearQuest 7.0.1 schemas and will be included in ClearQuest 7.1.
Carolyn's Bio:
Carolyn Pampino is now focused on leading the Collaborative ALM road map and strategy for 2009 and was a primary contributor to the ClearQuest ALM packages. As a member of the 'green thread' team she has promoted the use of story boarding to drive product integrations and direction. She is a co-author of a Redbook titled Collaborative Application Lifecycle Management with Rational products. Previously, she contributed to the acquisition of Build Forge, where she served as a transition manager for product management and has also contributed to the solutions and strategies related to integration with the Tivoli portfolio. Carolyn has 5 years driving product direction at Rational and over 20 years in the software development industry.
